Graph

This page shows a live scrolling waveform graph of several internal signals. What you see depends on which of the 8 toggles (below the graph) you turn on.

The graph is meant for “at-a-glance” monitoring while you drive and tune.

Solo mode

There’s a Solo button (icon) that appears when you hover over the graph.

When Solo is enabled:

  • MAIRA hides everything except the graph (bottom toggles and other window chrome).
  • The main window becomes borderless and non-resizable.
  • You can drag the window by clicking and dragging directly on the graph.
  • This is ideal if you want to place the graph on top of iRacing as a lightweight overlay.

Click the Solo button again to restore the normal window layout.

What each toggle shows

Each toggle enables a “layer” in the graph. If a toggle is off, that layer isn’t drawn.

Input Torque

Shows the 360 Hz steering torque iRacing is providing (the “input” MAIRA receives).

Input Torque (60 Hz)

Shows the 60 Hz steering torque iRacing is providing.

Input LFE

Shows the current low-frequency-effect magnitude MAIRA is producing.

Output Torque

Shows the final force value MAIRA is sending to your wheel after processing (algorithms + effects + fades).

Clutch Pedal Haptics

Shows the current clutch haptics waveform MAIRA is generating (a live sine-based signal).

Brake Pedal Haptics

Same concept as clutch, but for the brake haptics waveform.

Throttle Pedal Haptics

Same concept as clutch/brake, but for the throttle haptics waveform.

Timer Jitter

Shows timing jitter in the multimedia timer loop (how stable MAIRA’s 500 Hz timing is).

Quick reading tips

Midline and scaling

  • The vertical center is “0”.
  • Up/down indicates positive/negative depending on the signal.
  • The intensity of the line increases with magnitude.

Gutter indicators (top/bottom bars)

The graph has top and bottom “gutters” used as status indicators:

  • If Output Torque is clipping, the top or bottom gutter turns solid red.
  • If Curb Protection is active, the gutters show yellow checkers.
  • If Crash Protection is active, the gutters show orange checkers.

This makes it easy to spot clipping/protection events without staring at the waveform.
