Language
Sets the language MAIRA uses for all UI text.
Default: Windows language setting (if your language is supported) or English

Controls which page MAIRA opens to when the application starts.

App window
These settings control how the MAIRA window behaves (position, startup behavior, tray behavior, and UI scaling). They do not change simulator behavior.
Show splash screen when starting up
Shows the MAIRA splash screen while the app loads. Turn it off to skip straight to the main window.
Default: ON
Topmost window
Keeps the MAIRA window above other normal windows.
Default: OFF
Remember window position and size
If enabled, MAIRA restores the last window size and screen position from the previous run. If the saved position is no longer on a screen — for example after you disconnect a monitor or rearrange your display layout — MAIRA recenters the window on your primary display instead, so it never comes back off-screen.

Start with Windows
Launches MAIRA automatically when you sign into Windows.
Default: OFF
Start minimized
Starts MAIRA minimized instead of opening the main window.
Default: OFF
Minimize to system tray
When enabled, minimizing MAIRA hides it to the system tray instead of leaving it on the taskbar. Right-clicking the tray icon opens a menu with Show window, Reset window position (brings the main window back to the center of your primary display, in case it ever ends up somewhere you can’t reach), and Exit app.
Default: OFF
Minimize instead of closing
When enabled, clicking the window’s close button minimizes MAIRA instead of exiting the app. Combine with Minimize to system tray to keep MAIRA running quietly in the background.

Light theme
Switches the MAIRA interface from the default dark theme to a light theme.
Default: OFF
UI scale
Scales the MAIRA UI larger or smaller.
Default: 100%
Cloud service
Check for updates on startup
When enabled, MAIRA will automatically check for a newer version each time the app starts.
Default: ON
Check for updates on interval
When enabled, MAIRA also re-checks for a newer version at a regular interval while the app is running. The Update check interval below only runs when this is turned on.
Default: ON
Delete old installers
When enabled, MAIRA cleans up previously downloaded installer files so they don’t pile up in your Documents folder.
Default: ON
Update check interval
How often MAIRA re-checks for a newer version while the app is running, in hours. This interval only runs when Check for updates on interval is enabled.
Default: 1 hr
Check now
Runs an update check immediately (without waiting for next startup).
CPU affinity
CPU affinity allows you to control which physical CPU cores this application uses. By default, Windows distributes processes across all available CPU cores, but in some cases, you may want to restrict MAIRA to specific cores for better performance or to avoid conflicts with other demanding applications – such as the iRacing simulator, streaming software, or other background processes.
Changes take effect immediately and will apply to the current and future sessions.
Miscellaneous
Launch wizard
Launch wizard opens Marvin the Wizard, a step-by-step guide that walks you through the most important settings – app theme, steering wheel selection, and more – to get you on track quickly. It is the same wizard that appears the first time you run MAIRA, and you can re-run it any time from here.
Show / hide window
Show / hide window toggles the MAIRA main window between shown and hidden. You can map this action to a button on your wheel or controller so you can bring MAIRA up or tuck it away without leaving the cockpit.
Open documents folder
Opens MAIRA’s Documents folder in Windows Explorer. This is where MAIRA stores its settings, logs, recordings, and other data files.
